Reaching thermal equilibrium

Put a hot object and a cold object in contact and energy flows across the boundary, always from the hotter to the colder. The flow continues until both reach the same temperature, and then it stops: that is thermal equilibrium. Set two starting temperatures and watch them meet.

Mission Predict the direction of energy flow when two objects at different temperatures touch. Streak 0Best 0
When the two objects are placed in contact, thermal energy flows:
temperature of A80 °C
temperature of B20 °C
stateenergy flowing A → B
Equal masses and material here, so equilibrium sits at the average. Equal temperature means no net flow: thermal equilibrium.
