The Balance Trap

Mass is the amount of matter in an object and never changes. Weight is the pull of gravity on that mass, weight equals mass times gravitational field strength, so it changes from world to world. The spring scale on the left reads weight and swings as you travel. The beam balance on the right compares masses, so it stays level everywhere. Choose a world and a mass to hit the target weight.
