Interactive Simulator · Galaxies and Light-Years

Measure in Light-Years

Space is so vast that kilometres are useless for it. Instead we use the light-year: the distance light travels in one year, about 9.5 x 10 to the 15 metres. Because light takes time to reach us, looking far out into the galaxy means looking back in time. Set the distance to hit each target.
