How it is built

One headline, then two methods

The lesson opens on the trap: 3 N and 4 N at right angles do not make 7 N. From there it builds two methods on the same example, scale drawing and calculation, so learners can see the resultant measured and then confirmed by Pythagoras and the tangent ratio.

Rally Coach then gives step-by-step paired practice on clean triples, where the coaching catches the usual slips: adding magnitudes, mixing up the tangent sides, or leaving off the direction. The activity ships with a full facilitation guide, and every answer must carry a magnitude and a direction.
