Necessary, but not sufficient
The lesson treats units as the grammar of physics: derived units are not new ideas but combinations of six base units, and the homogeneity test is just checking that every term of an equation reduces to the same base units. The one idea held firm is that homogeneity is necessary but not sufficient, because it cannot catch a wrong pure number.
