How it is built

Free fall carries some of the stickiest misconceptions in the course: that heavier falls faster, that the acceleration is zero at the top of a throw, that a falling object is weightless. The lesson names each one and then breaks it with the two balls fall together model and clean vertical suvat.

The Anticipation and Reaction Guide makes each learner commit a private belief before teaching and revisit it after, so the shift in thinking is theirs and is visible on paper. The activity ships with the statement sheet and a teacher answer key, so it can be run faithfully.
